Quick Stop: Filling Station Bar Cafe

I've heard so much about the Filling Station Bar Cafe in Makati and when we finally had the time, we dropped by to try the food from their menu and also to see the picturesque American vintage interior design styled with mixed artsy pieces from the 50's.

With the restaurant's compilation list of music that we're released between 1950 and 1959, from big band tracks to jazz standards, rock and roll by Elvis Presley, Beatles and many more, the vibe really feels like time travelling back to the American history. Just feels so good!

They have massive vintage collectible items from different parts of the world that clearly represent the style of their time. I also saw an old tv that is still working, some items have been restored while some are in their original shape, really cool. Imagine the story behind each items here, makes me wanna hoard and forget about Marie Kondo (lol).

You can also play billiards here and enjoy the Hollywood indie film feels displayed all over the place, like I was in a movie set. Oh, they also have an enclosed smoking area on the other side, for those who wanna know. :)

And the food? It was dinner when we went there, so we ordered their "must try" Fajitas Combo, it is grilled beef and chicken with bell peppers, served with soft tortilla, lemon, salsa, sour cream, cheddar cheese and chili. I was craving for seafood too, so we added this delicious Garlic Shrimp Diablo, seafood lovers and garlic lovers I promise, it's really good!

Fajitas Combo, Php698

Garlic Shrimp Diablo, Php383

Filling Station Bar Cafe is open 24/7, they serve breakfast meals, snacks/starters, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, steaks and Filipino dishes. They also serve fresh juices, coffee, milkshakes and liquors. A complete set of meal for two will actually cost you around Php1500.

Filling Station Bar Cafe is located in 5012 P. Burgos Street, Poblacion, Makati City 1210. They don't have a parking area, but we found a parking space at a different street, so you might want to ask the people in that area first before you park.

Thanks for the view. Ciao!
