Campuestohan Highland Resort
We went back to my hometown last Friday to celebrate my Aunts birthday and also to meet my relatives living in Bacolod and San Carlos. Bacolod is a city on the northwest coast of Negros Island in the Philippines. Did you ever wonder why it's called the "City of Smiles"? Well, it is notable for its MassKara Festival held every 3rd week of October. It is also known to be a friendly city that's why it's called the City of Smiles.
One beautiful local spot that we visited was Campuestohan Highland Resort located in Bacolod-Talisay area in Negros Occidental. Entrance fee is Php150/head, inclusive of pool fee and playground. You can stay overnight or go for a daytime accommodation/tour. Check daytime accommodation rates HERE, and for overnight accommodation rates HERE.
If you plan to book a hotel room, make sure you call in advance for reservation, atleast 3 days before your stay. Their office hours at 9:00 AM - 6:00PM and you can contact these numbers for inquiries:

Campuestohan is a 5-hectare property that showcases the land green forest of Mt. Makawili. Calling all nature lovers out there! They also have a restaurant pavilion, children's playground, hanging bridge, heroes hall, king kong, ice cream parlor, spa and photobooth.
Dare to try the sky biking for just Php100/head? Conquer your fear of heights, don't worry, it's 100% safe. I was a bit hesitant at first coz I'm so afraid of heights, but I didn't regret trying it, it was fun and a new experience for me. If you don't want to try the sky biking, how about sky walking with their suspension bridge?
It was foggy and cold due to the rain that time, it came to a zero visibility too, yet it was so amazing. The fog was so thick that it almost covered the whole surface of the place, like a puff of smoke rushing towards us. I feel so dreamy, coz darn...it looks magical.
The restaurant serves a lot of Ilonggo specialties, one of their famous cuisine is the chicken binakol, where soup is from the juice of a coconut. We also ordered the fried longga-lumpia and the gising-gising. Namit ah!
Outfit worn is from http://www.tosave.com/, they have so many affordable apparels and items to choose from. I love how comfy my outfit was when I visited Campuestohan. Though it was shipped from the US, I'm still glad the delivery came just in time for my upcoming trip. Also thanks to https://www.sheinhair.com. <3
If you're planning to visit this place, I advise you to rent a car worth Php2500, and it can take you anywhere after Campuestohan or ride a Grab Car for Php800-900+. If you're going on weekends, they have a shuttle going directly to Campuestohan leaving at exactly 9AM, it will only cost you Php100/head, it's a 30-seater airconditioned Sarao jeepney and it can really save you a lot. Pick-up point is at Villa Angela Arcade Circumferential Road, Bacolod City, and leaves the Campuestohan Resort at 4PM. In case you missed the shuttle, Nissan van good for 15 can be rented for Php1500 daytour only, and Php2000 overnight. If you have a private car, follow the maps below:
