Review: L'Oreal Infallible 24 Hr Pro-Matte Foundation and True Match Concealer

I can't be more excited to share my reviews about one of my newest makeup favorites, two of them are L'Oreal's Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation and True Match Concealer. I am acidic and the foundations and concealers that I normally use for my face should always be atleast one shade lighter than my natural skin tone, because if not, my face will look darker after an hour and that doesn't please me at all!
Yes, that's my dilemma, everytime I visit a beauty store and ask a Guest's Makeup Artist about the foundations and concealers that's perfect for my skin tone, they always pick up the wrong shade for me. It happened when I wasn't aware of my skin condition yet...and it happens whenever I failed to inform them and I already purchased the items due to my excitement (lol). So if you know that you are acidic like me, do not forget to advise your Makeup Artist beforehand so they can apply the best shade for you. There are varieties of True Match available for L'Oreal and to be honest, I was a bit confused, so as their Infallible foundations. I've also noticed that L'Oreal Paris' makeup innovation never stops, which is also good for buyers like me. I bought the Infallible Pro-Matte 101 Classic Ivory and Infallible 24 Hour Stay Fresh Foundation, I swore to make an unbiased review about it once applied. The Stay Fresh Foundation is suitable for all skin types, but I'm not using that now, coz the one that I bought was a shade darker than my skin tone, while the Infallible Pro-Matte is suitable for oily skin. Today, I'll show you my look using the Infallible Pro-Matte in 101 Classic Ivory and my True Match Concealer shade is N-1-2-3 Neutral-Fair/Light, Neutre-Pale/Clair and my honest reviews about these products.

I can use these as my everyday makeup and take note, especially on a sunny day. It's a drugstore makeup, that means you can easily find these inside the malls or any drugstores beauty section near you. L'Oreals Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation gives me that matte finish that can last all day long even on a hot weather, plus it's non-sticky formula makes it super-blendable when you apply it on your face. Yet, since this is suitable for oily skin and I have dry skin, I applied a moisturizer on my face first before the application. You can use a makeup sponge or a brush when applying it or simply use your ring fingers to tap and blend it all out. I apply the L'Oreal True Match Concealer under my eyes and blend it using only fingers to warm it up, believe me, this is a very good technique. This concealer is light weight and very easy to blend (using my ring finger is for personal use only but if you'll apply it on other people, please use a makeup sponge or a brush for sanitary purposes). Then the final step, set your foundation and concealer with this L'Oreal Infallible 16 Hr Pro-Matte Powder. I've been using these for a week now and I can say that they can give your face a good coverage. If your skin is super dry, then this wont be good for you, I advise you to try the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow 24 Hr Foundation instead.

Overall, I like the matte quality for the oily skin and the concealer is very blendable. If your budget is tight, try these. Drug store makeup have excellent quality suitable for a Filipina skin. If you failed once, just keep trying 'til you find the right product that's best for you. Meanwhile, here are some snaps that I took last weekend so I can show you how it turned out on my skin even on a sunny day. I can't wait to try other L'Oreal products actually, I must be missing out.
