ETUDE PRINCESS RUN 2014 (CLOSED)

Sounds fun? This is the Etude House Philippines major project to help victims of the angry Typhoon Yolanda. As far as anyone could remember, our hearts were broken from this unexpected disaster and until now, many families were still in need for food supplies, shelter and clothes. I understand its never easy to reach out a hand when we are incapable to do so. Yet, God always finds a way.

This Etude Princess Run aims to collect funds to donate to the families afflicted by Typhoon Yolanda. Etude Pink Card Members will also receive a kikay "tutu skirt" upon payment in suggested etude branches after the registration online. I can already imagine a Barbie like runners that day. This whole day activity will be a lot of fun and entertainment since Cosplayers are also being invited to run with their creative costumes, but ofcourse, running shoes is still being strictly advised to be worn during the run for their safety. Isn't it fun knowing everyone will be wearing PINK on the road.

If you think this is too much girly and its only a fun run for the ladies, well you're totally wrong! Everyone can join, even your Dad and boyfriend. It's also being suggested to run with the whole family since this is an open activity for everyone that will help strengthen family bonds and build harmony, especially this May's foundation, coz we'll be celebrating the upcoming Mothers Day. It's about being healthy too, so this is gonna be a great opportunity to all the fashionable sporty chic. You can also enjoy a vintage-themed carnival after the run and will have a passport to the different booths. This huge surprise really excites me especially now that I'll be running with my lovely close friends.

There will be 3 categories during the run:
3K - PHP 600
5K - PHP 600
10K - PHP 800
Inclusive of a race kit, with singlet, race bib and map.

The proceeds of the Princess Run will go to the Yes Pinoy Foundation, where one chair for one child will be provided.  Titled One Chair, One Child #UpuanParaSaKinabukasan Campaign, it is done in partnership with Lifeline Foundation.  Yes Pinoy’s founding chair, actor Dingdong Dantes said that after going to Visayas and seeing the devastation in schools, they decided to help them rebuild.

The 3000+ survivors of Estancia Elementary School in Northern Iloilo will be the beneciaries of the Princess Run.  Said Lifeline Foundation’s Deputy Director, Betty Romero, “This chair is more than a chair; it’s their dignity.  It’s for their future.”

Registration for the run is still on-going. Go to http://etudehouse.ph/ for online registration.  Payments and in-store registration can also be done at four Etude House branches: SM Norh EDSA, Eastwood Mall, SM Southmall, and Glorietta 3.
